Build with Claude
Turn your Claude conversation into a live app.
Add Exepad to Claude, describe what you want to build, and work with Claude to create it. Review the private preview, ask for changes, and approve publication on Exepad.
Start on Exepad Free. Free puts one one-page site live, with no expiry. Several pages, saved data, sign-in, email or AI need Go or Pro to go live.

What you will build.
A one-page project-estimate calculator that anyone can open and use.
- Visitors enter an hourly rate, estimated hours and, if they want one, a contingency percentage.
- The page shows the subtotal, the contingency amount and the total.
- Everything runs in the browser. There are no accounts, and nothing is saved.

How it works.
Claude writes the app. Exepad builds it, keeps it private while you review it, and puts it live when you approve.
-
Connect Exepad
Add Exepad to Claude and sign in. The setup is below.
-
Describe the app
Ask Claude for what you want in plain words, or send the first prompt below.
-
Review the private preview
Claude writes the app, and Exepad builds it into a private preview that only you can open. A card in the conversation shows the build's state and its latest screenshot, and Open preview opens the preview in Exepad.
-
Ask for changes
Ask for a fixed-fee option and a reset button. Claude changes the app, and Exepad builds a new preview.
-
Approve publication
Ask Claude to prepare the publish, and it gives you a link. You approve it in Exepad within 30 minutes, and nothing goes live until you do.
The prompts.
Send them in order, in a conversation with Exepad switched on: start the calculator, change it, then prepare it for publication.
Use Exepad to create a one-page project-estimate calculator. Let visitors enter an hourly rate, estimated hours, and an optional contingency percentage. Show the subtotal, contingency amount, and total. Keep everything in the browser with no accounts or saved data. Build a private preview for me to review.
Add a fixed-fee option and a reset button. Keep the current design and show me the updated preview.
Prepare this version for publication and give me the Exepad approval link.
Add Exepad to Claude.
Exepad's listings in Claude's directory already carry the address, and connecting signs you in to Exepad, so there is no key to copy.
-
Add Exepad
In Claude on the web or in its desktop app, add the Exepad plugin in Customize › Plugins and connect it from the plugin's Connectors tab. Or open Exepad in Claude's directory (Customize › Connectors › Browse) and connect the Exepad connector.
-
Sign in to Exepad
Exepad opens. Sign in with Google, which creates your Exepad account if you don't have one; Exepad Free is enough. Choose which apps Claude may use. The connection ends 30 days after you approve it; you can revoke it sooner on Connected assistants in Exepad Studio.
-
Allow the tools
Claude asks before every Exepad tool call until you choose Always allow, in Customize › Connectors › Exepad › Tool permissions. Setting Read-only tools to Always allow stops the prompts for reads.
-
Ask for the app
Start a conversation and ask for the app you want. To switch Exepad on or off for a conversation, use the + button at the lower left of the message box, then Connectors.
-
Approve publication
When the app is ready, Claude gives you an approval link. You approve it in Exepad within 30 minutes, and nothing goes live until you do.
- Anthropic decides which Claude plans can add plugins and connectors. In a Team or Enterprise organization, an Owner may need to allow Exepad first. The Owner allows it in Organization settings › Connectors, and members then connect it with their own Exepad account. See Anthropic's help page.
- Tested by Exepad: Claude Team.
- Disconnect in Claude does not end the connection on Exepad's side. To end access, revoke Claude on Connected assistants in Studio.
- Only if Claude does not offer Exepad, add it as a custom connector: open Customize › Connectors › Add custom connector, name it Exepad and paste https://mcp.exepad.com/mcp, or use Add as a custom connector, which fills in both (an Owner uses this link for the organization). Under OAuth client, keep Use Claude's published identity selected. Claude Free allows one custom connector.

Plans and cost.
- Any plan, Free included.
- Each build is charged to your Exepad wallet at 0.5 US cents a minute, by the second, and at most 10 cents a build, drawn first from your monthly credit. A build starts only when the wallet can cover it.
- Your assistant's own tokens cost nothing at Exepad.
- On Go or Pro, hosting your live apps is charged to your wallet each day at 1.5 times its cost, with no included allowance, drawn from your monthly credit first. Free's live one-page site and every preview are not charged.
- Cost means what Exepad pays for the model use or infrastructure, including the tax Exepad pays on purchases from providers abroad and any provider funding fees.
A second example: a request tracker.
Clients submit requests, and you move each one from New to In progress to Done. It saves records, so it is an app rather than a one-page site.
Build and preview it on any plan. Putting it live needs Go or Pro.
Create a client request tracker. Let a client submit a request with a title, a description and their email. Save each request so it is still there after a reload, show the list with a status of New, In progress or Done, and let me change the status. Use fictional sample requests while I review it.
Keep improving it.
- Ask Claude for the next change. Exepad builds a new private preview, and the live app changes only when you approve the new publish.
- An app you make in Exepad Studio from a prompt can be continued by your assistant: choose the app when you connect. An app your assistant makes shows in Studio with its preview and latest build, and its changes come from your assistant, not the built-in builder. An app built in Studio before assistant editing existed stays in Studio. These are the supported paths, so don't plan on moving an app back and forth between the built-in builder and your assistant.
