THE COMPROMISE

What you normally give up

Website tools make you pick a side. A template gets you live by Friday and then argues with you the first time you need a page it never planned for. Hiring someone gets you the site you described, six weeks and a few thousand dollars later. Both end the same way: the contact form drops into an inbox nobody reads. Describe the site instead, and the pages and the form arrive together.

What you get

Four things that come with every app in this category.

01

Pages that collect, not just display

Every site ships with a working contact form. Responses are stored where you can read, search and export them, with honeypot spam protection on by default — 50 responses a month on Free, 200 on Pro.

02

Found from day one

Page titles, descriptions, link previews and the search basics are written and wired at publish. Nothing to install, no plugin to configure, no checklist waiting for you afterwards.

03

A blog you'll actually use

Drafts you can sit on, categories and tags that keep posts findable, and a feed readers can subscribe to. Write the post, publish it, and it is on the site.

04

Your own domain

Every site publishes to a live exepad.app address straight away. On Pro, point your own domain at it — HTTPS and the www redirect are handled for you.

What's included

Everything below is part of the product, not an add-on.

  • A contact form whose responses you can read, search and export.
  • 50 form responses a month on Free, 200 a month on Pro.
  • A blog with drafts, categories, tags and a subscribable feed.
  • Titles, descriptions and link previews written for you at publish.
  • 500 MB of file storage for images, PDFs and downloads.
  • Three sites on Free, one of them live at a time.
  • Your own domain on Pro, with HTTPS handled for you.
  • Exepad branding on free sites; removed on Pro.

Free covers simple websites — three sites, one live at a time, and 50 form responses a month.

Pro is $25/month: unlimited full-stack apps, your own domain, advanced AI models, 200 form responses and 200 emails a month.

Every guide in this category

All 7 guides in this category — the full list, not a selection.

Build a website in minutes

Stop stitching a builder, a CMS, a forms tool, and an email service together every time you need a site. Describe what you need in plain language; Exepad publishes a complete one with hosting, database, and email built in.

Launch a business website your customers actually find

Stop renting a registrar, a hosting plan, a builder, four plugins, an email service, and an SSL add-on. Describe the business once and Exepad publishes the entire site — discoverable on Google and citable by AI assistants from day one.

Publish a portfolio that books work

Most portfolios are a template, an image host, a form embed, and an email tool stitched together — viewers see the work but never convert. Describe your projects; Exepad publishes case-study pages and an inquiry form that routes leads.

Publish a landing page that converts

Renting a page builder, a form SaaS, an email provider, and an analytics tool to launch one page costs $200/mo and three logins. Describe the offer; Exepad ships the page, form-to-database, confirmations, and analytics on one bill.

Build a marketing site without the plugin tax

Today's marketing sites are a CMS, blog plugin, form SaaS, email tool, analytics tag, and chat widget — six bills, and nobody on the team can edit a page. Describe the brand; Exepad publishes the site from one prompt.

Create a personal website you actually keep updated

Most personal sites are a builder subscription, a domain, and a hosting plan paid for years to host a stale bio. Describe yourself once; Exepad publishes the real thing in minutes — and updating it is one follow-up prompt.

Publish a one-page website in 7 minutes

Most one-pagers are a link-in-bio SaaS or a published notes page — no real domain, no analytics, no form that writes anywhere. Describe the page; Exepad publishes it on your domain with a database form, email, and analytics.

Frequently asked

How many messages can the contact form take?+

50 responses a month on Free and 200 a month on Pro. Every response is stored where you can read, search and export it, and the obvious spam is filtered before it reaches you. The form works on a free site — it is the one thing a free site genuinely keeps for you.

Can I use my own domain name?+

On Pro, yes: point your domain at the site and HTTPS and the www redirect are handled for you. Free sites publish to a live exepad.app address, which is a real, shareable URL — but a custom domain is a paid feature and we would rather say so up front.

How many sites can I build on the free plan?+

Three sites in total, with one of them live at a time. In practice the free allowance is one build plus a few rounds of changes, so it is best spent on the idea you are most serious about. Pro removes both limits, so every site you build can stay published at the same time under its own domain.

Can I change the site after it is published?+

Yes. Describe the change — new section, different pricing, another page — and publish again. There is no template to fight, no theme file to edit, and no rebuild to wait through. Most copy and layout changes take a couple of minutes end to end.

Does Exepad tell me how many visitors I get?+

No. Exepad does not report visitor numbers today, and we would rather state that than imply a reporting screen that does not exist. Once your site is on your own domain you can read traffic in Google Search Console, which is free and covers most of what a small site needs.

Can the site take bookings or payments?+

On Pro, yes. Bookings and payments store records, which the free plan does not include, so both are paid features. Payments run through your own Stripe account — you connect it once, and the money lands in your account rather than passing through ours. Those apps live under Customer Apps.

Will people get an email when they submit the form?+

On Pro. Transactional email is a paid feature with 200 sends a month, and messages go out from an Exepad address unless you configure your own sending address. On Free, responses are still stored for you to read — they just do not trigger an email.
