AI assistant plugins
Build with ChatGPT.
Connect your own assistant to Exepad. It writes the app, Exepad builds it and shows a private preview in the chat, and the app goes live when you approve it. Included in every plan, Free too.
The address to add.
Your assistant connects to one address. It signs you in to Exepad, so there is no key to copy.
https://mcp.exepad.com/mcp Three steps.
-
1. Connect
In ChatGPT, open Plugins › Add › Create custom MCP server and paste the address.
-
2. Sign in
Exepad opens. Sign in with Google, which creates your Exepad account if you don't have one; Free is enough. Choose which apps the assistant may use.
-
3. Build
Ask for the app you want. Your assistant writes it, Exepad builds it, and a private preview appears in the chat about a minute after the build starts.
Publishing.
When the app is ready, your assistant prepares a publish and gives you a link. You approve it in Exepad, and nothing goes live until you do.
- Free puts one one-page site live, with no expiry. Several pages, saved data, sign-in or email need Go or Pro to go live.
- When an app needs a plan you don't have, the approval page says so and links to Pricing.
- Custom domains are on Pro.
What it costs.
Each build is charged to your wallet at 0.5 US cents a minute, by the second, and at most 10 cents a build. A typical build takes about 30 seconds and costs about a quarter of a cent, drawn from your monthly credit ($1 on Free). A build starts only when the wallet can cover it. Your assistant's own tokens cost nothing at Exepad.
Who can connect.
Your assistant's plan decides whether you can add a custom plugin and use its write tools. Those rules are set by the assistant's maker, not by Exepad.
- ChatGPT (set by OpenAI): Adding a custom MCP server needs a paid ChatGPT plan, Plus or above, on the web. OpenAI decides which plans can use its write tools. OpenAI's help page
- Tested by Exepad: ChatGPT Pro.
Good to know.
- Plans and top-ups are only on exepad.com. Your assistant never sells you anything: when a build or a publish needs more, it says so and links to Pricing.
- An app you make in Exepad Studio from a prompt can be continued by your assistant: choose it when you connect. An app your assistant makes is in Studio too, with its preview; its changes come from your assistant.
- Developer access is on Pro: other MCP clients, developer API keys, the /v1 API and A2A. See the plugin docs for every tool.
A little more context
Good questions.
Which Exepad plan do I need?
Any plan, Free included, connects and builds. Free puts one one-page site live, with no expiry. Several pages, saved data, sign-in or email need Go or Pro to go live.
What does a build cost?
0.5 US cents a minute while it runs, by the second, and at most 10 cents a build. A typical build takes about 30 seconds, about a quarter of a cent, drawn from your monthly credit. Your assistant's own tokens cost nothing at Exepad.
Can I work on one app in Exepad Studio and with my assistant?
An app you make in Studio from a prompt, yes: choose it when you connect, and your assistant can continue it. An app your assistant makes is in Studio too, with its preview, and its changes come from your assistant. An app built in Studio before assistant editing existed stays in Studio. Both share one wallet and one account.
Can other MCP clients connect?
Coding tools and other MCP clients connect as developer access, which is on Pro, together with developer API keys, the /v1 API and A2A.
How many builds can run at once?
2 per account, on every plan. A third waits until one finishes, and your assistant is told to try again.
