Start with what you have
Your files. New possibilities.
A spreadsheet, document, or image can be the beginning of a useful app. Bring the information, describe the experience, and shape it in your App Cloud.

Spreadsheets
Excel to App
Each list sheet becomes a collection, each row a record, and each formula a rule you check against the workbook.
Excel to Dashboard
Monthly rows in one place, measures written as sentences, targets beside actuals, and a view people read without touching a formula.
Excel to CRM
Companies, contacts and deals as linked records, a stage list in place of a loose status column, and dated notes on every contact.
Spreadsheet to Portal
Each client signs in to their own projects, documents and invoices, while rates and internal notes sit in fields you mark staff only.
Excel to Website
Listing pages from your sheets, a page for each row that needs one, written pages around them, and only the rows you mark to publish.
Excel to Admin Panel
A searchable record list, an edit form that checks each save, and approve, bulk-change and archive actions for the people you name.
Excel to Directory
Every tab in one browse page with a category filter, a page per listing with its link and picture, and a Listed or Pending status on each vendor.
Excel to Inventory Tracker
Items with one code each, stock per location worked out from recorded movements, and a reorder list in place of red cells.
Excel to Form
Questions worded from your columns, choices from your dropdowns, staff-only fields on each response, and past rows kept beside new answers.
Excel to Booking System
Rooms, people or equipment to choose from, open slots worked out from your hours, and bookings with a status staff can confirm.

PDFs
PDF to App
Records from your report's rows or from each PDF in a set, with fields you can filter, a status people update, and the source PDF attached.
PDF to Website
Your PDF's chapters as pages in a menu, text in one column that fits a phone, charts and photos with alt text, and the PDF itself as a download.
PDF to Form
Questions with the labels people read, the PDF's formats and totals as rules, one step per part, and each submission saved instead of mailed.
PDF to Knowledge Base
Numbered sections as articles, procedures as unbroken step lists with their warnings, and the manual's revision and page on every article.
PDF to Landing Page
One offer from your brochure on a single page: a headline that names it, the price beside its conditions, quotes cleared for the web and one action where the brochure had several.
PDF to Directory
A browse list with search and area filters, a page per entry, a visible edition date and a way to request corrections.
PDF to Catalogue
Category pages, a page per product with its variants and specs, spec filters, and an inquiry button where the PDF said call for price.
PDF to Gallery
One image per look, plate or figure, each with its caption, credit and the PDF page it came from, grouped by story or chapter.

Documents
Word to App
A checklist for each new case, an owner and a due date on every step, and records where filled-in copies of the file used to pile up.
Word to Website
Pages from your Word headings, a menu to move between them, and a title, description and next step on every page.
Word to Knowledge Base
Chapters as sections, topics as articles with an owner and a review date, and 'see section' references as links you click through.
Word to Form
Questions from your labels and blanks, instructions as help text, office-use fields for staff, and every submission saved in one place.
Word to Directory
A listing per person or shared line, departments as a filter, names sorted by last name, and personal numbers kept to signed-in staff.
Word to Blog
One post per article with its date, author and summary, an index in date order, categories to browse and a next read after every post.
Word Tables to App
A list for each table, a detail view for each row and a form for adding the next one.
Word Images to Gallery
Albums from your document's sections, one photo per record with its caption, date, place and credit, and a large view with alt text.
Start with
Presentations
PowerPoint to App
A menu from your sections, working fields where a slide only drew a screen, and a status on every record for each step the process slide listed.
PowerPoint to Website
Pages merged from your slides, a menu from your agenda, your deck's colors and fonts, and a way to get in touch where the closing slide was.
PowerPoint to Dashboard
Each month's figures kept as rows, measures with written definitions, statuses worked out from thresholds and commentary pinned to its month.
PowerPoint to Knowledge Base
Topics as articles written in full sentences, diagrams and screenshots spelled out in text, and one current version of every slide that was copied around.
PowerPoint to Form
Questions taken from the slides you mark, ratings on the scale each slide drew, answers filed by session, and a summary your staff can check.
PowerPoint to Training App
Modules from your sections, a knowledge check after each lesson with the answer explained, and a record of who finished what.
PowerPoint to Catalogue
A page per product slide with its specs and price, categories from your deck's sections, labels from its badges and an inquiry button on each product.
PowerPoint to Portfolio
An index of projects to filter, a page per project with your role and credits, and a way to reach you from each page.
PowerPoint to Gallery
Albums from your deck's sections, captions from slide titles, credits and awards on each photo, and pictures once stacked or grouped on one slide laid out one by one.

Data exports
CSV to App
Records keyed on the source ID, the work fields the export never had, a second collection where columns repeated, and the date of the export on screen.
CSV to Dashboard
Measures defined in your words, filters from your columns, a data-as-of date and totals you can hold against the tool that produced the export.
CSV to Directory
A browse page with search and filters, a page for each listing, contact details off the public page, and a form for corrections.
CSV to CRM
Contacts with their original IDs and dates, stages named your way, opt-outs carried across, and one record for each person who was in two tools.

Images and references
Image to App
Pages that follow your images, an action behind each button you describe, and records from your own data instead of the sample rows.
Image to Form
Questions from a photo of your paper form, rules the paper could only ask for, and every submission saved as a response staff can find.
Image to Website
A page for each item in your mockup's menu, your own words and photos in the designed layout, a phone layout you checked and buttons that lead somewhere.
Image to Dashboard
The tiles, charts and filters from your screenshot, each figure counted from your own rows with its definition on screen, and a data-as-of date.
Image to Directory
A listing for each card you confirmed from your photos, the bulletin board's sections as filters, suite or booth numbers where the source had them, and a form in place of the pushpin.
The file is a starting point.
Describe who will use the result, what information it should keep, and the actions people can take. Review extracted text and data, then try the main task before sharing the app.
Choose models or an agent when they serve a purpose. Decide how later changes reach the app; an uploaded file is a snapshot of its source.
